Short Description

Design case study can be used as a methodology to evaluate and generate usability scenarios for the effective usage of developed solutions. Project ‘Kontikat’ develops business continuity management solution namely ‘BCM-Suite’ to assist small and medium enterprises in mitigating and handling pre, in and post-crisis scenarios. The utility of BCM-Suite can be examined through design case studies. It requires hands-on participation with small and medium enterprises for generating concise affordance models of technology usage. These affordance models can comprise of cognitive walkthroughs, demos and guidelines for technology appropriation.

This project can be adjusted to fit option A, B, or C depending on the level of difficulty and specific interest of the student(s). This project can start as Project A and be continued as B, C and also lead to a Master Thesis.
